Dr. Vinck is trained in conducting neuropsychological and psychodiagnostics assessment as well as providing psychological treatment. She is also certified as a HIMS neuropsychological examiner by the FAA and trained in CogScreen AE-2.

Dr. Vinck was born and raised in Curaçao, Dutch Caribbean. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Boston College, where she graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Vinck received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Latino Mental Health from William James College. 

Dr. Vinck completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in Adult Neuropsychology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Miller Medical School. The training program was housed at the world-renowned Ryder Trauma Center, a verified Level I Trauma Center. Dr. Vinck conducted neuropsychological assessments and provided cognitive rehabilitation in English and Spanish for individuals in the neurosurgical and traumatic intensive care units, Inpatient Neurological Rehabilitation unit, and acute floors, as well as through the outpatient neuropsychology program. 

Dr. Vinck completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychology at the Division of Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience, Department of Neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She administered outpatient neuropsychological assessments of patients with a broad range of neurological disorders as well as pre- and post-surgical evaluations for epilepsy (including Wada tests and language mapping) and deep brain stimulation (DBS). Dr. Vinck also conducted mentored research through the Evelyn F. McKnight Brain Institute and supervised doctoral students. 

Dr. Vinck previously held a Clinical Assistant Professor in Psychiatry appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine. She also worked as a Special & Scientific Staff Psychologist at the Dr. Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center/ Department of Mental Health (DMH) where she conducted neuropsychological evaluations in a forensic psychiatric inpatient setting and trained pre-doctoral students in neuropsychology. 

Dr. Vinck specializes in adult (ages 16 and above) and geriatric neuropsychological assessments. She has extensive clinical experience in the assessment and diagnosis of various neurological, psychiatric, and medical conditions, such as ADHD, substance use, dementias, movement disorders, epilepsy, demyelinating conditions, traumatic brain injury, infectious diseases, aphasias, toxic exposures, anoxic events, sleep disorders, tumors, vascular disorders, as well as mood and affective disorders.

Dr. Vinck is multilingual in English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamentu. She has lived in Curaçao and Ecuador. Dr. Vinck is an avid swimmer and loves training her dog to use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).  She enjoys live music, traveling, and watching Formula 1 racing.
